Kim M. Nolte, MPH, MCHES

Senior Director of Development

kim nolte insetKim Nolte is the Senior Director of Development for the Emory Global Health Institute. She is responsible for developing a comprehensive fundraising strategy geared toward securing external funding from individuals, foundations, and corporations. She works closely with Dr. Jeffrey P. Koplan, Vice President for Global Health, on EGHI’s fundraising initiatives.

Nolte is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive and public health professional. Previously the President and CEO of the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential (GCAPP), Nolte consistently exceeded the organization’s annual fundraising goals. In her three years as CEO, she exceeded GCAPP’s fundraising goal for its reserve fund five years ahead of schedule. Additionally, Nolte’s senior team tripled GCAPP’s programmatic reach, and the organization was recognized locally and nationally for its programmatic success.

Prior to assuming her role as GCAPP President and CEO, Nolte served as the organization’s Vice President of Programs and Training for eight years and as a Program Manager at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for four years prior to that.

Nolte received her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University and her Master of Public Health from Tulane University. She began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala, where she served as a nutritionist and public health educator.
