Visiting Professor in Global Health Communications

In spring 2007, the Emory Global Health Institute is sponsoring a visit to Emory University from Dr. Arvind Singhal, Presidential Research Scholar and Professor at Scripps College of Communication, Ohio University. During his stay, Dr. Singhal will lecture in undergraduate and graduate classes and connect with faculty members across the University who have an interest in global health and global health communications. At the end of his stay, he will provide his insights and a written report regarding the possibilities of developing a global health communications program at Emory. Dr. Singhal is a world leader in health communications and a pioneer in the field of entertainment-education. He is the author of eight books, three of which have won competitive awards, and 85 scholarly articles.
