Global Health Institute Field Scholar Awards

The Emory Global Health Institute funds two field scholarship programs to which Emory students are eligible to apply. The two types of GHI Field Scholars are (1) Individual Field Scholars, and (2) Multidisciplinary Team Field Scholars.

• Individual Field Scholars conduct individual global health projects in collaboration with an international or local in-country partner
• Multidisciplinary Team Field Scholars conduct global health projects in multidisciplinary teams in collaboration with an international or local in-country partner. These projects can be student-identified or indentified jointly by Emory and Institute partner sites.

These two scholarship programs provide Emory students with opportunities to work on a variety of short-term global health projects in the field in partnership with in-country organizations.
